REVIEW: 705 ‘Put It On Me’

North London musician 705 is as much a performer as he is producer. So it’s no surprise that the Tottenham born artist takes inspiration from the likes of King Sunny Ade, Michael Jackson, 50 Cent and Wiz Kid to create his signature brand of “afro-fusion.”

‘Put It On Me’ takes a firm hold of the listener from the start: its grinding, R&B laced introduction quickly becoming peppered with snappy drums and chattering claps to create an almost post bass-like melody for 705’s downtempo, strung out vocals to glide over/
