Shabba, Skibadee & Stormin Perform Set on London Bus to Promote Tranzmission Festival
It would seem drum n bass artists like to perform on public transport these days.
Last week MC, Harry Shotta took to the mic and hosted a fully fledged “rave” aboard a London tube with DJ and YouTube prankster, DiscoBoy. But the party soon stopped when the pair were confronted by bemused London Transport Police officials who insisted the pair stop the music when the Bakerloo line tube pulled into Paddington station.
Now though some of Shotta’s fellow drum and bass artists have recorded their own version of the “rave “ prank pulling off a similar stunt aboard a packed open top London tour bus. MCs Shabba, Skibadee and Stormin performed a swift back to back to back mic session whilst the bus traveled around the Houses of Parliament. The crowd were in full sing a long mode as they traded lines the lyricists and in particular crowd favourite, Shabba D.
The set by the abbreviated SaSaSaSaS was in order to promote next month’s Tranzmission Festival which takes plays in London’s Finsbury Park on 11th June.
