Sound of Berlin Focuses on Electronic Music in German Capital

A new one-hour documentary titled Sound of Berlin focusing on the city’s underground music scene has been released.

The documentary, which officially landed on Friday 18th May, delves into the German capital’s long and storied electronic music history via interviews with club owners, DJs, promoters and artists.

Executive produced by Hermes Eck and produced by Franziska Koch & Carolina Thiele, Sound of Berlin will feature the likes of Juan Atkins, Pan-Pot, Mathias Kaden, Monolink and Marc Houle discussing their love for the city and its electronic heritage. There are also interviews with Love Parade founder Dr. Motte and Tresor label head and club-owner Alexander Krüger.

The Sound of Berlin documentary and accompanying soundtrack, directed by Marc House is available on Apple Music via Berlin-based record label Embassy One.
